[She can't help but tease. Good, reliable Semiyon, always with a helpful solution to her problems. She pulls her boots off and sets them aside so she can curl up comfortably sideways on the cushions, then nods toward him and those gloves.]
[His smile widens and he nods towards where she sits on the sofa]
You just make yourself comfortable. I'll get what we need.
[And he paces back into the kitchen, staying there long enough to roll his sleeves back down and get the glasses and the wine (this one in a bizarre neon pink bottle but he's had to take what he can get when he's rummaging the stores) then he reappears.]
[Well, well. What a bottle. More wineries really ought to package their drink in such an outstanding color, truthfully. It's fun!
But she doesn't feel much like fun.]
I don't know how to say it.
[Truthfully, for the feelings that thing had imposed on her were alien and uncomfortable and describing them is a challenge. One she's up for, one she can use her knowledge as a poet for, but it's a unique challenge.]
I'll start with what happened. Ivar - you know Ivar, right? Well, when he was attacked by one of the hosts, those nautilus creatures, he left one of his knives embedded in the thing's eye. He and I went back to finish it off and retrieve his blade.
We did. It was still buried in its eye, and it had three of its... Friends? With it. I don't know if those things have friendship or not. Possibly. They seem intelligent enough.
[Shrug.]
We killed it and the others ran off without it, so perhaps they didn't care that much.
It shouldn't have. It was thrilling, in fact. Those creatures are strong. Much more of a challenge than most of your people.
[It's a shame that wine from a bright pink bottle isn't itself bright pink. It would spice things up. Tastes acceptable, but perhaps her standards have decreased since coming here.]
You remember when I captured that host's soul? I decided to consume this one. The last one didn't have any useful information and I wanted to see if I could, since the Door won't let me eat the souls of anyone else here. It... It felt terrible. Normally when I kill someone, their souls are full of fear and hatred and things that taste so rich and flavorful. But this... I felt what it was feeling, Semiyon. I've never... felt like that.

So. Are you going to tell me what is the matter?

And were you able to retrieve this blade?

[Battling monsters can be upsetting for some, but in his experience not Caedra.]
So far it does not sound as though this should have trouble you.
